UMIDIGI is a Chinese brand that has been kept up to date when it comes to mid-range and low-range mobiles. The UMI S3 Pro is a smartphone that costs less than 300€ and whose specifications have surprised us enough for the positive, but does it have enough to surpass those of Xiaomi?
The most interesting is its ceramic construction, its large 5,150 mAh battery and still the 48MP rear camera, but there is much more we can comment on perhaps the best smartphone of the brand to date.
While most people are starting to use glass as the building material for their rear casing, UMIDIGI has opted for ceramic with aluminium side frames. Its screen also has quite small edges, but the big novelty lies in its drop-shaped notch, so common in the year 2019.
You’ll also be thinking that because of its large battery is a thick and heavy mobile, but that’s not the case. It also integrates an 18W charger, so you can surely charge the large 5150 mAh battery in about 2 hours.
Even talking about its internal specifications, we can talk about its processor, the Helio P70, which will give us a performance a little lower than Snapdragon 675, but higher than Snapdragon 660. We also have 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that you can also expand with microSD cards.
As if this weren’t enough, it comes with Android 9 Pie, a port for Jack 3.5mm, USB Type C, NFC for shopping with the mobile, a hybrid tray for two SIM and a large number of compatible bands.
UMIDIGI has integrated a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, the same as we see in the Xiaomi Mi 9, accompanied by a 12MP Telephoto lens. On the front we also have another good 20MP sensor, the Sony IMX376.
